Good news for my readers, heading to Bloody Scotland – Scotland’s International Crime Writing Festival taking place in Stirling from Thursday, September 15 to Sunday, September 18. . . I will be appearing alongside fellow authors Lisa Gray and Tony Kent*.

We will be chatting during an event called: ‘Writing in the US of A’, on Saturday, September 17. Here’s the blurb: Meet three British authors whose thrillers are as American as apple pie, hotdogs and donuts – and just as bad for your heart. Multi-million-seller Mark Edwards’ new thriller No Place to Run is set in northern California as a brother desperately searches for his missing sister. Lisa Gray’s Californian set thrillers have topped the charts in both the UK and US and her latest Lonely Hearts centres on a Death Row romance with a serial killer. Tony Kent’s exhilarating No Way to Die kicks off with a body found in Key West and hurtles towards an explosive climax.

(*Tony will, appropriately enough, be joining us digitally from the US.)

Tickets to event cost £8 each and can be bought online here. It is taking place at Tolbooth, Jail Wynd, Stirling, FK8 1DE. Find it on Google maps.

I’ll look forward to seeing you there where I will be handing out some of my special touchy-tool pens marking the publication of my latest book No Place To Run. If you’ve not yet read it you can buy it on Amazon.

See you in Scotland!
