Me looking very excited to be named winner!

I did it! Last of the Magpies won its category at the Dead Good Reader Awards – and it’s all thanks to you guys. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me. It’s the first thing I’ve ever won and I’m very, very pleased.

I was announced as the winner at the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival in Harrogate and it was such a great honour and a special night. I’m very proud that Lucy Newton won The Cat and Mouse Award for Most Elusive Villain as she’s the antagonist in my first solo novel, The Magpies, which sparked the sequels A Murder of Magpies and Last of the Magpies.

Thank you all again for voting once, twice, as many times as you could to make sure that I won.

Here’s hoping there may be a few more awards on the horizon!

Congratulations, I just purchased your latest book and I’m really looking forward to an all night read. I’ve been told how intense your books are. I love a good thriller/mystery
