If you fancy heading to a crime writing festival and seeing me talk about all things creepy and crimey, here’s some dates for your diary.

On June 26th-28th, I’ll be at Lyme Crime, a brand new festival taking place at The Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis.

I’ll be at two events, firstly on Friday, June 26th from 7.30-8.30pm with fellow author Ed James. We will be discussing our recent research trip to the Pacific Northwest, where we flew to Seattle, got lost in Oregon and nearly run off the road on Interstate 5 – all in search of authentic detail. Then on Saturday, June 27th, I’ll be in conversation with C.L.Taylor where we’ll be discussing what inspires us, how we write, what makes a great psychological thriller and the challenges and highlights of our careers.

Next up, I’ll be at Perfect Crime. It’s Liverpool’s first ever crime writing festival, taking place in the heart of the city on Saturday, November 14th with some of the biggest and most exciting names in the world of crime writing, including me! There will be exclusive panel discussions, a crime writing workshop and book signings.

Perfect Crime will take place in the Radisson Blu hotel, by the River Mersey and is a collaboration between publisher Ian Skillicorn, and crime writers, Ashley Dyer and Caz Finlay.

The early bird ticket gives you access to all of the author panel events throughout the day for £49. A place can be booked on the crime writing workshop with author David Jackson for an additional fee of £9. The workshop is only open to attendees of Perfect Crime. Early bird tickets are restricted to the first 50 tickets sold, after which a full price ticket is £58.
